Nudey Beach

Nudey Beach is one of Fitzroy Island’s best-known natural spots, set within the island’s rainforest and reef environment about 45 minutes by boat from Cairns. The island is part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and most of its land is National Park, giving the beach a more natural setting than a built-up city shoreline. Fitzroy Island Resort describes Nudey Beach as an iconic destination and says it was voted Australia’s number-one beach in 2018 by Brad Farmer of 101 Beaches.
