Tree Tops Lodge Cairns offers a peaceful place to stay in Yorkeys Knob, with accommodation intended primarily for the Christian mission community but also open to the wider Christian community and the general public. It is designed for people in transit, those attending medical treatment or seeking recuperation, and guests needing temporary accommodation while working, training or studying in the Cairns area. Longer stays are also considered, with rates available by enquiry.

The lodge sits on two acres of hillside surrounded by lush tropical gardens, creating a quiet and reflective setting rather than a busy accommodation precinct. Its Christian atmosphere and relaxed environment make it suitable for mission workers, individuals needing respite, and groups such as school retreats. The site also welcomes guests connected with different mission agencies, particularly those serving in Papua New Guinea and the South Pacific.

Tree Tops Lodge is owned by Wycliffe Bible Translators Australia. It began as a joint project between Wycliffe Australia and Mission Aviation Fellowship Australia, established in response to the need for accommodation for mission personnel travelling to Cairns for medical care or recuperation. Over time, renovations, landscaping, tree planting and other improvements have shaped the lodge into the tropical retreat it is today.
